Choices Abound
There are many options to consider when choosing an exterior door. The most basic is the material used to make the door--either metal, fiberglass or wood. Metal is the most popular material and can't be beat for durability. For the look of wood without the expansion/contraction headaches, go with fiberglass.
Another option to consider is windows: full-view, nine-light, sidelight or custom. There are also many types of glass, such as frosted, leaded, clear and beveled.
